The Page of Cups is the courage of saying it first. It arrives as the message you drafted four times, the confession that could easily be laughed at, the small offering held out with no guarantee it will be taken well. This is the most vulnerable card in the deck that is not about pain: everything is still possible here, humiliation included, and the Page goes ahead anyway. It can also be news of the tender kind — a pregnancy, an apology, somebody telling you what you meant to them. Where it goes wrong is fragility that becomes a claim on other people. Where it goes right, it is the bravest thing in the suit.
